Min Woo Lee will look to become the first player in 12 years to do the PGA Australia – Australian Open double as he goes into the final round of the Australian Open tied for the lead with Japan’s Rikuya Hoshino at -13.
Lee began the third round with a three-stroke lead over the chasing pack, but some scintillating play from Hoshino evaporated the Aussie star’s lead.
The two duked it out on the final day of the Australian PGA Championship in Brisbane when Lee held off Hoshino to win the title and he’ll be hoping for a repeat in Sydney.
Lee and Hoshino share a one-stroke lead over Alex Fitzpatrick and Patrick Rodgers who are both tied for third, while Australia’s Lucas Herbert sits in outright fifth thanks to a stunning third round.

Herbert jumped up 11 spots on the leaderboard to put himself in the mix for the final day.
Adam Scott also remains in contention thanks to his best day at the Australian Open this year.
Scott shot 67 in the third round to finish the day -8 and in a six-way tie for 12th.
