We (very nearly) had one of the most epic plays of the season. Not only for the moment itself, but the big names involved.
Again, almost.
In the second quarter of Minnesota Timberwolves’ meeting with the Philadelphia 76ers, Anthony Edwards nearly threw down an epic poster dunk on Joel Embiid.

Edwards got a cutting pass from Karl-Anthony Towns past a Sixers defender to get a clear runway to the hoop. Only one thing stood in his way – Embiid.
The Wolves star rose up and flew through the air to the hoo. But when he threw down the ball, it hit the back of the rim and bounced straight back the other way.
Edwards then received a technical after arguing with the referee that Embiid should’ve gotten called for a foul.
No matter, the epic moment set social media alight.
Philadelphia has pulled away from the Wolves in the fourth quarter to lead 110-97 midway through the period, with Embiid putting up another monster line with 42 points and 10 rebounds.
It marks 12-straight 30 and 10 games from Embiid, the most from any NBA player since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
-MORE TO COME.
