The Manly Sea Eagles jumped out to a 16-0 lead after an error-riddled opening from the Warriors at Go Media Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The first try to Daly Cherry-Evans came in the 10th minute after Luke Brooks played it flat to Corey Waddell, who burst through an attempted tackle and couldn’t connect with Tom Trbojevic.
Still, the Sea Eagles had a few tackles up their sleeve close to the Warriors line as Trbojevic took on the defence on the last and flicked a desperate pass back as he went to ground.

It deflected off Wayde Egan’s hand and bounced up for Daly Cherry-Evans to score an unconventional try.
Cherry-Evans added another six points to his personal tally when the Sea Eagles opened the Warriors up in concerning fashion on the left edge, with the hosts easily stripped for numbers as Tommy Talau raced away and timed the kick inside for his halfback to perfection.
Then an error from Dallin Watene-Zelezniak gifted the Sea Eagles another chance on the Warriors’ line and they converted once more, with Brooks heavily involved again as he condensed the defensive line with a double pump before Trbojevic floated it over the top to Talau.

FULL GAME PREVIEW:
The Warriors are chasing four straight wins and will be boosted by the return of two key players when they host the Manly Sea Eagles at Go Media Stadium.
Kurt Capewell (concussion) and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak (hamstring) are back on deck after watching on last week as the Warriors smashed the Rabbitohs by 30 points.
Capewell’s addition to the 17 sees Mitch Barnett move back to prop, which is perfect timing given Bunty Afoa is out injured for this game. Watene-Zelezniak will take his place on the wing, allowing Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to move into the centres.
The Sea Eagles are also coming off a big win having downed the three-peat champions, Penrith, 32-18.
But they didn’t come out of that game unscathed with Reuben Garrick suffering a head knock which has made him unavailable for this week. The versatile Ben Trbojevic moves to the centres with Corey Waddell to start in the second row.
Nathan Brown has also been scratched from the 17 after picking up a knee injury. Veteran prop Aaron Woods joins the bench in what will be his first NRL game of the season.
