Isaac Cumming is South Australia bound and Nick Haynes is plotting a Victorian move, with the Giants confirming the pair will depart as free agents as the off-season dominos begin to fall for the club following its straight-sets finals exit.
Meantime, Collingwood is reportedly making its move for teammate and fellow free agent defender Harry Perryman.
SEN’s Sam Edmund first reported Cumming had told the Giants of his desire to move to one of the South Australian sides in 2025.

It’s believed the 26-year-old hasn’t specified whether he intends to sign with the Crows or Power, with both teams having offered four-year deals.
As Cumming is an unrestricted free agent, he can walk to whichever club he chooses without the need for a trade.
The defender has played 81 AFL games since joining GWS with Pick 20 in the 2016 national draft.
On the other hand, The Age reports Perryman is being pursued hard by the Magpies, who ‘upped their offer’ following Mark Keane’s decision to remain in Adelaide with the Crows.
However, Port Adelaide ‘remain favourites’ to land Perryman’s signature, according to the report.
It comes as Perryman, Cumming and several other Giants face uncertain futures, including James Peatling, Lachlan Keefe, Conor Stone and Braydon Preuss, who are all uncontracted for 2025.
Herald Sun journalist Jon Ralph reported on Fox Footy’s On the Couch the Power have tabled Perryman a six-year deal worth as much as $850,000 per season — with GWS and Hawthorn’s offers not said to be as fruitful.
According to Channel 7 reporter Mitch Cleary on Tuesday, Perryman didn’t reveal his free agency plans to the Giants at his exit meeting.

Meanwhile, Haynes is expected to join the Blues as an unrestricted free agent after GWS confirmed his departure on Tuesday afternoon.
“We want to thank Nick for his 13 seasons at the club and he leaves with our best wishes as he looks to seek more AFL opportunities,” Giants football boss Jason McCartney said in a statement.
“As an inaugural player and life member of the club, we’ve watched him grow into the player, person and now father that he is today.
“We thank him for being a valuable member of our club for such a long time and we wish him and his family nothing but the best.”
The 32-year-old Haynes played 211 games in western Sydney and was a member of the 2020 All-Australian team after a stellar campaign.
