India has blitzed its way to the fastest 50 and 100 in Test cricket history, shattering the Bazball record set earlier this year.
The 50 world record came in just three overs with Rohit Sharma smashing three sixes in the first six balls he faced, partnering Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Sharma was bowled for 23 off 11 deliveries, while Jaiswal continued the blitz with a 50 off just 31 to put the hosts at 1-90 off nine overs.
