During the briefing, Parliament’s press service will present the procedure, schedule, rules and the structure of the confirmation hearings, along with how the Commissioners-designate will be evaluated and the vote on the whole college in plenary.
The press service will also present the findings of the first pan-European post-electoral opinion survey, which was conducted immediately after the June 2024 European elections with more than 26,000 people across all 27 EU countries interviewed to evaluate their voting behaviour and their main priorities.
Interpretation will be provided into English and French.
