Denver Nuggets superstar Jamal Murray will be the highlight athlete for Season 2 of NBA 2K25 in an exciting takeover.
The Canadian-b0rn Murray has already accomplished so much in his NBA career, including leading the Nuggets to their first ever NBA title in 2023. And now basketball fans will get to master his talents in the 2K world like never before.

The way Murray dominates on court – from his laser three-point shot, to his swift handles and crafty ability to get to the rim – will come to life on NBA 2K25.
To most accurately reflect the championship-winning point guard’s style of play within the video game, 2K looked to incorporate badges attributed to Murray’s MyPlayer character: Shifty Shooter and Layup Maximiser.
That’s not all.
Murray also has an exciting new sneaker collaboration with his signature New Balance Two Wxy v5 2K — available in New Balance US and Canada stores (date TBC) —including a special-in game version.
The shoes will be available on NBA 2k25 before they’re shown anywhere else in the world, with the Denver Nuggets stud to physically debut his new wheels in-game on October 27 against the Oklahoma City Thunder and November 2 against the Minnesota Timberwolves (all times AEDT).
“I first started playing the game with 2K1 with Allen Iverson and have been playing almost every year since,” Murray told foxsports.com.au.
“It’s really cool coming up as a kid and seeing all the guys in there and now to be a part of it. Having shoes and badges being made after me and things like that is really cool, it’s kind of full circle.
“It’s definitely something I’m looking forward to keep doing.
“I’m putting that creativity in it and having badges and stuff that will help you in the game. I’ve got a couple of cool badges that I’m looking forward to wearing with the shoe.”
Two Wxy v5 2K will be centred around Murray and his love of NBA 2k, inspired by tiers within the video game based on gems and diamonds. They’ll incorporate faceted graphics and iridescent finishes.
Two Wxy v5 model recently launched in September 2024 and are built for players who make an impact anywhere and everywhere on the court – positionless play.
Murray’s newest version combines reliability and support with the freedom of movement.
He’s previously collaborated with NBA2k23 in multi-coloured cameo. The Jordan Tatum 3s revealed on the cover of NBA 2K25 showcase NBA 2K as a platform for athletes to release new shoes in game before the public.
