The 19-year-old was involved in a freak accident at his friends house in the middle of last month, spending multiple weeks in hospital to assist with his recovery.

His fall resulted in a fractured vertebrae, resulting in his unsurprising addition to the club’s long-term injury list.
His unfortunate sidelining came after signing a one-year extension with the club post-season, having been taken with the Dockers’ fifth pick in the 2023 Rookie Draft.
In a statement posted to the club’s website, Executive General Manager of Football Joe Brierty spoke to the update on Jones’ health.
“This is an extremely unfortunate outcome for Odin,” Brierty told the club.
“He’s a popular member of our playing group, and we will continue to support him in his recovery every step of the way.
The West Perth product kicked 11 goals from his 11 games for the Peel Thunder in 2024.
