Richmond fans will tonight get their first real look at how 2025 may look for them, with several stars returning to the senior side to take on Collingwood in their only official pre-season hit out.

After each going through the match simulation motions at various points last week, the two Melbourne-based teams have named a 26-man squad for the 7:10pm clash in Carlton.
Premiership players Nathan Broad, Jayden Short and Toby Nankervis have all been named to take on the Magpies on Wednesday night for their first hit out this year, as have former GWS guns Tim Taranto and Jacob Hopper.
But despite gaining several more senior games to their side that faced West Coast in match simulation last week, regulars Tom Lynch (concussion), Dion Prestia (Achilles), Hugo Ralphsmith (hamstring) will be absent from the field this evening for Richmond.
First-year draftees Sam Lalor (jaw/concussion), Josh Smillie (hamstring) and Jonty Faull (back) will also miss through injury.
As for the black and white army, veterans Tom Mitchell and Mason Cox will miss the match through injury, while Jordan De Goey continues to recover from bone bruising in his knee. Star defender Brayden Maynard has been managed by the club, and is expected to line up against GWS in Opening Round next Saturday.
Craig McRae’s Collingwood side downed the Tigers by five goals in the same fixture last year, in what turned out to be a very fiery clash.
