Sydney and Port Adelaide will on Sunday afternoon go head-to-head in a crucial preliminary final re-match that will determine which of the two finals hopefuls will stay in touch with the top eight.
The Swans (2-3, 103.2 per cent) have won two of their last three matches, but are coming off a disappointing 31-point loss to Collingwood in Gather Round that’s leaves them a game outside of the top eight.
Travelling opponents the Power (2-3, 96.1 per cent) are directly below them on the table, but contrary to Sydney, are coming off a huge five-goal win over Hawthorn with their backs to the wall.

Dean Cox has swung three welcome changes for the Sunday afternoon clash, with Lewis Melican and Justin McInerney returning from injury and suspension respectively. Former Bomber Aaron Francis has also been brought in for his first game of 2025, with Joel Amartey (hamstring), Angus Sheldrick and Peter Ladhams (both omitted) leaving the side.
Ken Hinkley has made just the single change to his starting 23, with young gun Joe Berry dropped in favour of Darcy Byrne-Jones who returns from suspension.
The first bounce will hit the turf at the SCG at 3:20pm local time, with the substitutes and final teams for both sides named an hour beforehand.
