Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold has conceded he will “have to think about” who wears the No.1 jersey next week after Tom Trbojevic shifted between fullback and centre.
Lehi Hopoate left the field with a HIA in the opening stages of Manly’s 20-4 loss to the Roosters, with Trbojevic moving to the back to fill his position.
Hopoate later returned to the field and took back the fullback spot before Trbojevic he once again swapped with Trbojevic as the Sea Eagles attempted to reel in the deficit.

Seibold was questioned why he made that decision, keeping his response short and sweet.
“We went down 20 points to four with 20 minutes to go, we were chasing three tries,” he said.
“We had to try something.”
The Sea Eagles coach was then pressed on whether he was considering shifting Trbojevic back to his natural position full time.
“I‘ll have a think about it, it’s 10 minutes after the game,” Seibold said.
“We just needed to try something, what we were doing, we weren’t getting any field position and we just tried to get Turbo on the footy and start moving the footy.
“It’s hard moving it in that sort of weather, so we were three tries behind so we were trying to chase.”

Following their latest loss, Manly have now slipped down to 10th position on the live ladder, with the Roosters leapfrogging their opponents with a win.
However, skipper Seibold remained confident his side can mount a charge to play finals football despite a tight bunch of teams contending to win a spot in the top eight.
“We have just got to keep this fight up,”
“We have showed a ton of fight, the scoreboard got away from us the last 25 minutes of last weekend, but we have been fighting really hard. I don’t think that will change.
“Our discipline needs to be better, too many leg ups in this weather. Seven or eight yardage penalties across the game.
“They just gave the Roosters a leg up…. but the guys are working really hard, we will keep fighting and it’s still in their hands.”
