There are major changes at both Adelaide and Collingwood for their Saturday night blockbuster while Brisbane gets key returns for Friday night’s mini-final. Round 23 teams!

Collingwood has dropped premiership players Tom Mitchell and Will Hoskin-Elliott in addition to losing Jeremy Howe to injury, while Adelaide has made four changes including Taylor Walker and Brodie Smith returning.

The Pies have recalled Beau McCreery, Wil Parker and Ed Allan as they desperately try to turn around their recent form slump at Adelaide Oval and stay in top four contention. Bobby Hill remains out of the side.

FOX FOOTY, available on Kayo Sports, is the only place to watch every match of every round in the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season LIVE in 4K, with no ad-breaks during play. New to Kayo? Get your first month for just $1. Limited-time offer.

Matthew Nicks’ side has dumped Chris Burgess and Chayce Jones as well as Rory Laird (suspended) and Luke Pedlar (injured) missing in response to last week’s narrow win over the 18th-placed Eagles.

Smith, Walker, Harry Schoenberg and Lachie Murphy all return for the Crows

Elsewhere, Brisbane has bolstered its defence with Ryan Lester and Brandon Starcevich for Friday night’s defining clash with Fremantle at Optus Stadium.

Sam Day returns and rebound defender Luke Beecken makes his AFL debut, while Tom Doedee (injured), Henry Smith, Deven Robertson and Will McLachlan (all omitted) all make way.

Dockers star Hayden Young’s comeback bid from a groin injury has come up short, with Fremantle making just one change, replacing Isaiah Dudley with Corey Wagner (omitted).

Both the Giants and Gold Coast have lost key players to injury for their crucial clash, with Jake Stringer, Bayley Humphrey and Malcolm Rosas all set to miss, while the Suns regain Sam Flanders and Jesse Hogan remains out for GWS.

Elsewhere, Patrick Dangerfield and Jack Martin are both back for Geelong – Martin named on an extended bench – for Sunday’s key showdown with Sydney at the SCG.

The Swans have lost Brodie Grundy and Justin McInerney to injury, while Will Hayward, Peter Ladhams and Matt Roberts headline the ins for Dean Cox’s side in its bid to end the Cats’ winning streak.

Sam Walsh returns from a foot injury for Carlton in his first game since Round 13 when the Blues take on Port Adelaide at Marvel Stadium on Saturday.

North Melbourne duo Paul Curtis and Jy Simpkin, Richmond pair Luke Trainer and Josh Gibcus, Essendon’s Kyle Langford, Melbourne’s Steven May are among the other big inclusions for their respective teams, while St Kilda’s Alex Dodson will play his first AFL game.

Jacob Newton, the No.9 pick in this year’s mid-season draft, debuts for West Coast.
