This weekend, Dricus du Plessis defends the UFC middleweight title for the third time since claiming the strap from Sean Strickland in early 2024.
Du Plessis faces undefeated Khamzat Chimaev in the headline bout at UFC 319, which takes place in Chicago.
The South African champion was last in action earlier this year, when he defeated Strickland in a rematch of their 2024 bout at UFC 312. Meanwhile, this will be the first fight of the year for Chimaev, who was last seen submitting Robert Whittaker at UFC 308.

START TIME
UFC 319 will take place on Saturday, August 16 at the United Center in Chicago, therefore getting underway on Sunday AEST.
The main card begins on Sunday at 12pm AEST (Saturday at 9pm local time), while Du Plessis and Chimaev are set to make their cagewalks at approximately 2-2.30pm — although that depends on the other fights.
Coverage on Main Event commences at 10am.
