TOONE GIVES ENGLAND THE LEAD
Ella Toone has given England a 1-0 lead over the Matildas with a sweetly-hit strike that gave Mackenzie Arnold no chance.
Some tidy work down the left saw the ball break directly into the path of Toone, who had ghosted into the box unmarked.
The England star made no mistake with her shot as she blasted it into the upper right corner of the net in the 36th minute.

Matildas goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold came up with a massive save in the ninth minute.
England midfielder Georgia Stanway had raced behind Clare Hunt onto a long ball and was one-on-one with Arnold.
However, Arnold denied Stanway with her oustretched leg as the Matildas eventually cleared their lines from the resulting corner.
