The BBL finals schedule for 2026 — the 15th season of the T20 cricket competition — has been confirmed.
The Sydney Sixers’ hard-fought win on Sunday night ensured they qualified for another BBL finals series — and kept the Brisbane Heat out of the top four.
It means venues for the first two finals matches have been confirmed, with all games to be held in Perth, Hobart and Sydney.

WHEN IS THE BBL FINAL?
The BBL15 finals series gets underway on Tuesday January 20 after the conclusion of the regular season.
The 2026 BBL Final is scheduled for Sunday January 25.
HOW THE BBL FINALS FORMAT WORKS
The first four teams in the eight-team BBL competition qualify for finals.
The winner of ‘The Qualifier’ progresses straight through to ‘The Final’, with that team also automatically earning hosting rights.
The loser of the match, however, will then play the winner of ‘The Knockout’ in ‘The Challenger’. The loser of the ‘The Knockout’ is, well, knocked out from the title race.
The winner of ‘The Challenger’ then faces the winner of ‘The Qualifier’ in ‘The Final’.
