Australian flag-bearers Jakara Anthony and Matt Graham will both begin their push for the podium as moguls qualifying headlines Tuesday night (AEDT)’s action from the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics.
Reigning gold medallist Anthony is joined by dark horse medal contender Charlotte Wilson and Emma Bosco in the women’s moguls qualifying from 12:15am (Wednesday AEDT).

Graham, the 2018 silver medallist, leads the Aussie men’s moguls team also including George Murphy, Jackson Harvey and Cooper Woods from 9:15pm.
In moguls qualifying 30 athletes compete with the 10 best in Qualifying 1 advancing to the final. The remaining 20 compete in Qualifying 2 with the 10 best also advancing to the final.
In Thursday night’s finals, the bottom eight competitors are eliminated in Final 1, before another six are eliminated in Final 2, leaving six competitors in the medal-determining Final 3.
For the first time at the Olympics the moguls competitors can also enter the dual moguls, where two athletes compete side by side simultaneously rather than alone.
Also of note is short track speed skater Brendan Corey who is competing in the men’s 1000m heats from 9:10pm.
