If Johnston is to get his two tries tonight, it would happen right next door to where Swans star Lance Franklin kicked his 1000th AFL goal at the SCG.
Fans stormed the field in stunning scenes when Franklin kicked his milestone goal in 2022 but we’re unlikely to see a repeat of that given the NRL’s extremely strict stance on anyone entering the playing field if Johnston breaks the record tonight.
