AFL Draft heartbreak story Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves looks set to play his footy at Subiaco in 2026, as he continues to chase his AFL dream.
Hibbins-Hargreaves was perhaps the biggest snub of the 2025 draft and did not find his way onto an AFL list, despite stringing together some strong performances over the course of the season.
The talented youngster is currently over in Perth and will likely suit up with the Subiaco Lions for the 2026 season, with an eye to the 2026 AFL mid-season draft.

Hibbins-Hargreaves has trialled with the Western Bulldogs’ VFL side as well since the draft, but foxfooty.com.au understands he is likely to ply his trade in Western Australia next year.
Hibbins-Hargreaves, who was ranked 28th in Fox Footy’s Ben Waterworth’s pre-draft Power Rankings, has plenty of x-factor and can win games off his own boot.

A medium forward who can also play through the midfield or on a wing, Hibbins-Hargreaves split scouts all season with his game-to-game consistency.
Despite an injury-interrupted season, Hibbins-Hargreaves’ best was eye-catching. He’s strong in the air, creative around goals and has a strong footy IQ. One of his best performances came for Vic Country in the National Championships, when he bobbed up for four goals from 18 disposals in a tight loss to Western Australia.
In a game for the Stingrays this year, the Mornington product racked up 29 disposals and five majors in a remarkable display against the GWV Rebels. A silky mover with plenty of upside, Hibbins-Hargreaves’ best is brilliant, when he uses his composure and goal nous to regularly impact the scoreboard.
