Australia has made two changes for its crucial T20 World Cup group-stage clash against Zimbabwe at Colombo’s R Premadasa Stadium on Friday, with the first ball scheduled for 4.30pm AEDT.
The big-hitting Tim David has recovered from his hamstring niggle, replacing all-rounder Cooper Connolly in the starting XI, while seamer Xavier Bartlett has been omitted in favour of fast bowler Ben Dwarshuis. Captain Mitchell Marsh is once again unavailable due to testicular bleeding, with opening partner Travis Head leading the team in his absence.
