The Hobart Hurricanes are on the verge of the top four after a recent form spike and face a Melbourne Renegades side second-last on the ladder.
It has been a bleak season for the Renegades, who are virtually done in terms of finals hopes, while the Hurricanes have won two of their last three matches heading into the clash at Marvel Stadium.
Quinton de Kock will also play in his final BBL game of the season before heading to the SA20 league and will be keen to leave on a high after some relatively meek totals.

West Indian captain Akeal Hosein has joined the Renegades for the final two games of the season.
Ben McDermott will be hoping to continue his good run of form at Marvel Stadium, while he also enjoys a great batting average against them.
Peter Siddle is also just two wickets away from his 100th BBL wicket, which would make him just the 10th bowler to do so in the competition.
The Hurricanes won the flip and elected to bowl first.
It didn’t take long for the Hurricanes’ first breakthrough, with Tim David delivering the wicket of Shaun Marsh at the close of the opening over.
The Renegades struggled to to put runs on the board despite the pairing of Jake Fraser-McGurk and de Kock, with some impressive attack from the Hurricanes’ bowlers.
De Kock was caught out for just 20 runs, bringing his BBL campaign to an end.
This match gets underway at 7:15pm AEDT from Marvel Stadium.
