The Perth Scorchers will look to keep their unbeaten record intact when they host the Adelaide Strikers on Wednesday night in Perth.

Their struggles have come despite the form of Matt Short and Chris Lynn with the bat.
Also against the Strikers is their recent record against the Scorchers, losing four of their last five encounters with them.
They’ve also lost their last eight matches away from the Adelaide Oval.
The Strikers won the flip and elected to bowl first.
While the Scorchers got through the opening few overs without loss of wickets, a number of edges could’ve easily gone the other way.
Sam Whiteman pulled off a couple of impressive boundaries but Thornton sent him packing for 31.
The Scorchers started to fire via Aaron Hardie and Laurie Evans, with Hardie gifted a golden reprieve when D’Arcy Short dropped an absolute sitter in the field.
Evans began to put together a brilliant innings, striking boundaries at will in a huge knock for his side.
It resulted in an 18-ball 50, the fastest in Scorchers history and the second-fastest this season.
