Steve Smith will make his BBL return when the Sydney Sixers host the Melbourne Renegades at the SCG on Friday night.
Smith took the league by storm last summer, becoming one of the league’s top run-scorers despite playing just five matches, including 25 sixes.
He’ll line up alongside World Cup winning teammate Adam Zampa as the Sixers look to win their first title since 2021 and their fourth overall.

The Sixers hold a winning streak over the Renegades, having won the sides’ last seven matches.
