The pressure is off for both the Melbourne Stars and Hobart Hurricanes on Tuesday night as the two teams meet at Melbourne Cricket Ground for the final game of their respective seasons.
The Stars were in with a shot to qualify for the finals heading into last night’s game between the Thunder and the Strikers but an Adelaide win eliminated Melbourne from contention.
It means both the Stars and Hurricanes will be playing for pride on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, fresh from retiring from Test and ODI cricket, Sydney Thunder player David Warner will be hopping into the commentary booth to call his first BBL game.
