The struggling Adelaide Strikers will be boosted by Australian Test wicket keeper Alex Carey when they take on the Brisbane Heat in Saturday’s second BBL clash.

Carey, who scored 216 runs at an average of 31 during the recent Border-Gavaskar Trophy, is a major inclusion for Tim Paine’s side, who currently sit bottom of the table with just three games remaining this season.
If they are to revive their fortunes and make an improbable run to the Big Bash finals they will first need to overcome a strong Brisbane Heat outfit.
The Heat chased down 174 to win by three wickets the last time both sides met, a match remembered for a barnstorming 78 not-out from Nathan McSweeney, who at that time was recently dropped from Australia’s Test side.
