Ben Simmons and Jarrett Allen got into it!
The two NBA stars clashed in a heated moment in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 118-95 win over the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Centre on Friday (all times AEDT).
It came some 14 seconds into the second half after Simmons and Allen got tangled up contesting a rebound.

Things really intensified when the Aussie pushed Allen to the ground, with the Cavaliers big man proceeding to get up and charge at Simmons as they had to be broken up by teammates and officials.
Play was stopped for some time to cool down tensions on the floor before both players were hit with technical fouls.

It might’ve ultimately worked in the Cavs’ favour though as the visitors went on a 21-0 run thereafter — with Cleveland leading 80-51 by the 7:41 mark in the third quarter — to blow Brooklyn away and make for a one-sided second half.
Simmons, in his fourth game back since returning from injury, finished with six points in 20 minute in a starting role, while Allen had 14 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks in 30 minutes.
Donovan Mitchell poured in 27 points on 10-of-18 shooting with four triples, five rebounds, four assists, three steals and three blocks in 30 minutes top lead the Cavs, the East’s No. 2 seed, to their eighth-straight win.

On a day Golden State, surprisingly to some, stood still at the trade deadline, Curry exploded for 42 points on 15-of-22 shooting — including 11-of-16 from three-point range — to lead the Warriors to a 131-109 statement win over the Indiana Pacers.
Curry was scorching hot early, going 6-of-6 from downtown in the first term alone — and 8-of-9 by half-time — to put up 29 of his 42 points in just the first two quarters as the Warriors led 70-58.
Steve Kerr’s team went on a 6-2 run to start the second half and the Pacers never got back in the game from that point.
Jonathan Kuminga added 18 points for the Warriors, who were without Klay Thompson due to an illness, as they crept closer to .500 at 24-25 — now sitting half a game behind the 10th-seeded Jazz in the final play-in spot.
Indiana meanwhile fell to 29-24.
