Both sides sit on six points, two points shy of the fourth-placed Melbourne Stars, who conclude their season tomorrow against the ladder-leading Hurricanes, and need a victory to ensure their seasons remain alive beyond tonight.
The visitors will be without the impressive Jamie Overton, who is unavailable due to international duties, but are boosted by the returns of James Bazley and Cameron Boyce.
For the home side, they’ll be without one of their greatest weapons, quick Jhye Richardson, whose summer ended during the week when he opted for surgery on a troublesome shoulder injury.

Despite Richardon’s absence, Adam Voges is still able to call upon one of the competition’s most experienced bowling attacks, spearheaded by Andrew Tye, Jason Behrendorff, and Lance Morris.
Regardless of result, tonight’s contest will be the last of young gun Cooper Connolly’s Big Bash season, with the competition’s second-highest run scorer set to link up with the Australian squad in Sri Lanka after receiving his maiden Test call-up.
