Titans skipper Tino Fa’asuamaleaui is set to be sidelined for the remainder of the 2024 season, having suffered ruptured ACL against the Bulldogs in Round 3.
The 24-year-old had scans on Saturday night and the Gold Coast club confirmed the “devastating blow” on Sunday.
“In a devastating blow for the Gold Coast forward, he will now meet with medical staff to outline his rehabilitation,” the statement read.
Fa’asuamaleaui left the field in the 66th minute at Belmore Oval on Saturday afternoon, with his side going down 32-0 to record their second loss of the season.

His injury sees him join the Gold Coast’s casualty ward, with both Jayden Campbell (knee) and David Fifita (pectoral) currently sidelined.
Fa’asuamaleaui’s injury is also a huge blow to Billy Slater and the Maroons, with the gun middle forward being a key player for Queensland.
More to come.
