The feud between Gorden Tallis and the Brisbane Broncos has hit rock bottom with the club renaming a conference room in his honour after NRLW legend Ali Brigginshaw.
CODE Sports reported that the Broncos erased a piece of Tallis’ legacy from their $27 million headquarters and replaced it with Brigginshaw as a battle between ‘The Raging Bull’, Brisbane coach Michael Maguire and captain Adam Reynolds escalated.

In an extraordinary move Broncos bosses reportedly removed Tallis’ name from a conference room in response to his criticism of the club and Maguire.
Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy emailed the club’s 100-plus employees on Friday afternoon informing staff of the change, just hours before Brisbane’s clash against Melbourne at AAMI Park.
“Brisbane Broncos recognise the positive contributions and ongoing support of a number of club legends by way of naming various meeting rooms within the Clive Berghofer Centre,” Donaghy said.
“The naming of the Ali Brigginshaw meeting room recognises her outstanding contribution to the Broncos club since the inception of the NRLW program, including leading the Club to four NRLW Premierships.”

The club wanted to honour Brigginshaw as the Broncos first premiership-winning female captain, which she richly deserves.
However, Broncos powerbrokers have reportedly had enough of Tallis’ public criticism of the club spanning two decades.
Tallis won three premierships in his 160-game career for the Broncos and is one of their greatest-ever players and captains having been included in their greatest 13 in 2013.
Yet having given his heart and soul to the Broncos as a player, Tallis has now been exiled from their headquarters and replaced.

“He’s been against us for 20 years, and now he’s the shareholder of the Titans,” a club insider told CODE.
“You would walk past his room everyday and no one wanted to use it.
“It’s the easiest decision ever to rename that room given what Ali has done for the club.”

Tallis declined to comment when contacted by CODE.
