Port Adelaide star Ollie Wines is fighting to be available for Travis Boak and Ken Hinkley’s farewell game, while Gold Coast youngster Alex Davies has been cleared by the AFL Tribunal tonight.
Wines (not before 6:15pm AEST) is challenging a three-match suspension after being cited for rough conduct in the Power’s loss to Carlton last Saturday.
The Brownlow medallist had his bump on Carlton’s Cooper Lord graded as careless with high contact and severe impact.

The hefty sanction surprised many observers but the impact grading, which is the highest level possible, was due to Lord suffering a delayed concussion.
If he cannot overturn the sanction, Wines will miss the Power’s home game against the Suns on Friday night, which will be the farewell for both club legend Travis Boak and long-time coach Ken Hinkley.
Davies’ hearing was heard first, with the midfielder’s a one-game rough conduct ban for a collision with GWS’ Ryan Angwin downgraded to a fine.
It means Davies is free to take on Port Adelaide this Friday night as the Suns fight to keep their top four hopes alive.

“The guidelines say that any high bump which has the potential to cause injury will usually be graded at a minimum as medium impact.
“Here, however, the video clearly shows Davies took clear measures to minimise the impact to Angwin.
“He slowed his momentum, he took a deliberately short step just before impact, and he dropped his knees so as to appreciably lower his body position.
“The side-on view shows that he actually leans away from the impact to reduce its force.
“Angwin suffered no injury and we find that these actions significantly reduced the force of the impact and significantly reduced the potential for injury.
“As a result, we find that the impact should be graded as low.
The incident was graded as careless with medium impact and high contact.
