The Bulldogs have reportedly pulled out of the race to be one of four clubs that travel to Las Vegas for the two 2025 season-opening games.
That is according to The Daily Telegraph who are reporting NRL powerbrokers have enforced a deadline of close of business on Friday for clubs to submit their application to take part.
Cameron Ciraldo’s outfit will reportedly aim to travel to the United States in either 2026 or 2027, with their focus on improving their inexperienced squad.

Clubs who don’t submit an application for this season won’t be considered to travel next season, with the Panthers set take their talents to Las Vegas.
However, that leaves three spots for several clubs to contest for and the Storm, Knights, Raiders, Eels, Sharks, Cowboys, The Dolphins, Warriors and Dragons are all interested.
The Cowboys could have the upper hand to land a place in the 2025 Vegas venture, being the most high-profile Queensland club on this list.
However, they will reportedly only take part if they are considered an “away” team, hoping to conserve their home games at Townsville.
The Titans also reportedly will be focusing on improving their performances this season and won’t be submitting an application.
