Boomers legend and Sydney co-owner Andrew Bogut refused to answer questions in an awkward airport exchange with reporters as the Kings and Adelaide 36ers prepare to resume their NBL Championship series on Wednesday night.
The Kings have travelled to Adelaide with a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five series, meaning a win in Game 4 will secure a third title in five years.

This series has been littered with controversy and genuine feeling between the teams, from Bryce Cotton vs Kendric Davis on the court to the off-court saga involving Bogut and 36ers owner Grant Kelly.
The 36ers lodged a complaint and accused Bogut of “cyber bullying” and “body shaming” over a social media post that appeared to make fun of Kelley’s appearance.
The post came just 48 hours after a heated exchange between the pair in the Adelaide tunnels following Game 2. According to a CODE Sports report, Kelley approached Bogut and said, “I’ve got nothing to say to you mate,” before he claims Bogut replied with, “get f*** you fat f***ing c***.”

Bogut disputed that version of events, insisting the 36ers owner initiated the confrontation.
In February, Bogut also posted an image of Family Guy character Peter Griffin holding a basketball in an apparent reference to Kelley.
Bogut was quizzed about the saga by reporters at Adelaide Airport on Tuesday but, in almost comical scenes, he repeatedly told them he could not hear their questions because of his headphones (watch in the video player above).

It’s just one of several enthralling storylines to have emerged during the series, with Kings coach Brian Goorjian on Tuesday taking aim at Adelaide counterpart Mike Wells over his complaints about the officiating in Game 2.
Wells voiced frustration over the lack of fouls called on Matthew Dellavedova despite the pressure he applied to Cotton. Goorjian, though, called the complaint “weak” and said it was disrespectful towards Dellavedova.
Goorjian has made it clear on he won’t be adjusting Sydney’s defensive approach on Cotton, with the MVP sure to be in for another tough night as he looks to save the series for Adelaide.
