Egan will captain the side, but all eyes will be on Tuivasa-Sheck, named on the wing for the second week running, perhaps indicating where he’s likely to feature this season.
Melbourne’s visit also offers the club’s new look halves pairing a chance to gel further and establish a combination Warriors fans will be hoping can ignite a return to finals footy this season.
As for the Storm, Craig Bellamy has named a heavily understrength side for his side’s first trial of the year.
Highly-touted recruit Stefano Utoikamanu has been named for his Storm debut in the front row, alongside Lazarus Vaalepu, while Tyran Wishart and Sua Fa’alogo will feature in Bellamy’s spine.
