The pair led their teams to the top two spots on the NBL ladder, dominating the key stats – with Cotton slightly ahead (25.7 points to 24.4, 7.6 assists to 6.7, 3.6 rebounds to 3.9, 1.8 steals to 1.1) but with Davis more efficient.
Only twice have two players shared the MVP award.
