The mission has as aim to look at the social and labour market situation in Poland, the implementation of EU law in the area of employment and social affairs and the use of EU funding instruments in the country.
Members will exchange views with social partners, the Senate and ministers responsible in the area.
A press conference is scheduled on Monday 28 October at 16.45 in Parliament’s Liaison Office in Warsaw.
The Chair of the Employment and Social Affairs Committee, Ms Li ANDERSSON (The Left, FI) who is leading the mission said: “On our mission towards a better and more just working life, it is valuable to share experiences and find the best ways in making the European labour market and societies more inclusive and equal. These are some of the questions I’m looking forward to discuss with our colleagues in Poland.”
