Former chairman Lee Hagipantelis is reportedly at the centre of legal action being undertaken against the Tigers, with his law firm taking on a case after a rising star had his contract terminated.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Hagipantelis’ firm Brydens Lawyers have been hired by Jordan Miller, with the 19-year-old disputing his contract breach and eventual termination.
The move comes days before the law firm’s sponsorship of the Tigers is set to conclude, with ties being severed at the end of October.

Tigers officials reportedly claim Miller was late to training on two occasions, with a breach notice being handed down after the second time.
Miller is claiming the reason he was late on that occasions was due to personal matters that were extenuating before he arrived to the day’s training.
There’s no allegations of any wrongdoing by Miller, however police are reportedly involved in the matter.

Miller played two games for the Tigers this season, with his current contract running until the end of the 2026 season.
Hagipantelis meanwhile was ousted from his role as chairman at the end of 2023, with a review into the club resulting in his departure alongside Justin Pascoe.
He then reportedly informed the club he would no longer be a sponsor beyond his current contract, and will now undertake a legal battle against the Tigers.
