DRAFT ORDER: Who is picking where in the first round?
The Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos have already claimed the top seed in the NFC and AFC respectively to earn a week off, while the Carolina Panthers clinched the NFC South for the first time in a decade after Atlanta’s win over New Orleans on Monday morning.
One of the more highly-anticipated wild card games will see NFC North rivals Chicago and Green Bay face off and if their two fixtures in the regular season are anything to go by, it will be must-see television.
The Packers won a thriller 28-21 in their first meeting before the Bears rallied late to force overtime and claim an improbable 22-16 victory.
Elsewhere, Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills travel to Jacksonville to face a revitalised Trevor Lawrence and Jaguars team that is on an eight-game winning streak.
The Panthers may have squeaked into the playoffs and will be rank outsiders against the Los Angeles Rams, but Carolina can take confidence from an upset win in its last match-up against the NFC West heavyweights.
Meanwhile, the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles face a stiff test to keep their hopes of back-to-back titles alive when they host the San Francisco 49ers.
And Justin Herbert will need one of the best games of his career playing behind a banged-up L.A. offensive line when he travels to New England to play the Patriots, one of the stories of the season led by MVP favourite Drake Maye.
The Houston Texans are locked in for the other wild card game and will play the Steelers after Baltimore’s Tyler Loop missed a game-winning 44-yard field goal with two seconds left.
