Bird was later put on report for the alleged hair pull, with Crossland captured by Fox League camera wreathing back in pain during the incident.
Rabbitohs superstar Sam Burgess was suspended for one game during the 2019 season for a hair pull.
Meanwhile, Sea Eagles prop Nathan Brown was charged last year for an incident involving Jarome Luai during his time at the Panthers.
