Western Bulldogs star Jamarra Ugle-Hagan made an appearance at the footy on Friday night after a week of scrutiny surrounding his attendance at matches.
Last week, Ugle-Hagan posted a photo on social media out with friends instead of at the club’s centenary celebration game against Collingwood at the MCG.
But he was spotted at half-time of the Blues-Dogs clash at Marvel Stadium happily mingling with members of the crowd.

“So many of the Dogs’ stars (are) missing, but that (sight) would really encourage and gladden the hearts of Western Bulldogs fans to see Jamarra Ugle-Hagan here in support of his team,” Fox Footy’s Anthony Hudson told the broadcast at half-time as vision of the gun goalkicker was shown.
“Obviously, a lot (was) made of the fact that he wasn’t there last Friday night.
“At least he’s here, and that’s a step forward, hopefully.”

AFL legend Jason Dunstall said it was “great to see him” at the stadium watching on.
“I’m sure the Bulldogs fans are loving seeing him here, and his teammates would love to see him down in the rooms as well,” he said.
“I can only imagine he would’ve been down there pre-game, so let’s hope it’s a step in the right direction towards getting him back.
“Of course, his welfare is the number-one priority, we all know that, but (it’s) good to see him here tonight.”
Ugle-Hagan remains on a flexible training program with no timeline to return as he battles personal issues.
On the field, a well-drilled and relentless Bulldogs outfit – led by stand-in skipper Tom Liberatore – capitalised in the important moments to consign Carlton to a dreaded 0-3 record leading into a crucial clash with arch-rivals Collingwood.
Liberatore had 30 disposals and laid 10 tackles while mature-age recruit Sam Davidson had a terrific night on the wing. Dogs coach Luke Beveridge called Davidson’s efforts “brilliant”.
Carlton was also beaten by a familiar face in the middle, with former Blue Matthew Kennedy gathering 22 disposals and kicking two goals.
