The Orlando Magic’s Mac McClung has become the undisputed king of the NBA’s slam dunk contest with a record third straight victory that included jumping over a car.

McClung pulled out an elaborate range of tricks as he recorded four perfect scores of 50 from his four dunk attempts to become the first player in NBA history to complete a three-peat.
The highlight of his mind-blowing performance was his first dunk of the night where he jumped over a Kia and reverse dunked, reminiscent of Blake Griffin’s famous stunt in the slam dunk contest 14 years ago, but his other dunks were similarly out of this world.
The 26-year-old, who is nicknamed ‘White Flight’, jumped over a person to pull off another reverse dunk for his second dunk.
His third was more spectacular however, dunking two balls at once by jumping over a person, taking the basketball they were holding while spinning on a hoverboard, and taking a second ball from a person on a ladder.
To cap off his unbelievable showcase of athleticism, McClung jumped over Cleveland Cavaliers gun Evan Mobley, who is a reverse for the All-Star game, tapped the ball on the rim before dunking it.
McClung is one a two-way contract with Orlando and the G League’s Oscala Magic, but there is no denying that he was the main attraction of Saturday of the NBA’s All-Star weekend.
He certainly sent social media into overdrive with basketball fans losing their minds and what they witnessed.
