As expected, Angel Cabrera — back at Augusta for the first time since being released from jail on serious crimes of domestic violence — was at the dinner.
Organisers made sure he didn’t feature too prominently in the annual dinner, which was this year hosted by defending champion Scottie Scheffler.
The 2009 green jacket winner was nestled in a third row, standing beside Hideki Matsuyama and Mike Weir.
The image, however, is just as notable for who isn’t there.
Tiger Woods was a glaring no-show this year after he ruptured his achilles in the build-up to the tournament.
While the injury ruled Woods out of playing the major, he kept the golf world in the dark over whether he would still travel to Augusta this week to join the treasured yearly tradition.
The image confirmed the 15-time major champion elected against the trip, making it just the second time he has missed the dinner.
The only other time Woods was not in attendance was in 2021 just months after he nearly lost his life in a California car crash.
