Hull KR have held off a furious Broncos comeback to continue England’s terrific World Club Challenge run, defeating Brisbane 30-26.
The home side led 30-4 with 20 minutes on the clock, before the Broncos scored three tries in five minutes to give themselves a massive chance.

After the Robins held off Brisbane’s relentless pressure for just over 10 minutes, the Broncos were able to score again in the 77th minute through Kotoni Staggs.
Like he did against the Panthers in last year’s prelim, Adam Reynolds couldn’t nail the sideline conversion meaning the Broncos trailed by a converted try with just under three minutes left.
As it turned out, it wouldn’t matter as Hull KR were able to hold the lead in a nerve-wracking final couple of moments.
