Australia is out for a clean sweep against the West Indies in the third and final ODI on Tuesday afternoon (2.30pm AEDT) in Canberra.
Captain Steve Smith has won the toss and chosen to bowl first at Manuka Oval. The Australians have made two changes, with Lance Morris and Xavier Bartlett replacing Matt Short and Josh Hazlewood.
Sean Abbott, who top-scored for the hosts during Sunday’s victory in Sydney, has been promoted to No. 7.
Australia has debuted four players across the first two matches in a promising sign for the team’s long-term future.
Pacemen Xavier Bartlett and Lance Morris picked up their first appearances at the MCG on Friday, with Bartlett named man of the match in the eight-wicket win.

Then all-rounder Will Sutherland and hard-hitting batter Jake Fraser-McGurk were given their first caps on Sunday as Australia sealed an 83-run victory at the SCG.
Now more changes are expected as the teams take to Manuka Oval, with Travis Head rested and fellow stalwart Josh Hazlewood expected to also be omitted after playing the second clash.
Spencer Johnson has been added to the squad and could replace Hazlewood, while Bartlett could replace Sutherland.
Left-arm quick Johnson was subjected to a baptism of fire in his only previous ODI appearance, taking 0-61 from eight overs as India smashed 399 runs in Indore in September 2023.

Meanwhile, a recalled star could also get his chance in the final ODI of the three-match series as Australia chases a 12th-straight men’s ODI win.
Matt Short suffered a hamstring injury while hitting 41 in the second match – before being unable to field in the second innings – and has subsequently been ruled out of the Canberra clash.
That has seen Queensland’s Ben McDermott called up to the national squad, and the 29-year-old is expected to end a nearly two-year ODI exile against the West Indies on Tuesday.
McDermott hit 146 for Queensland in the Sheffield Shield against Tasmania on the weekend, a career-high, but has not represented Australia in the 50-over format since April 2022, when he scored 36 against Pakistan.
He averages 44.60 from his five ODI-career, with one century against Pakistan on that tour.
However, he remains a regular contributor to the middle order in Australia’s T20I team, having played for the team in last year’s tour of India. He has played 25 matches with an average of 18 and a top score of 54.
