MATCH PREVIEW
Moises Henriques and the Sydney Sixers host Nathan McSweeney and the Brisbane Heat in a blockbuster BBL clash at C.ex Coffs International Stadium in Coffs Harbour.
The Sixers have won the bat flip and will bowl first.
The fourth-placed Heat are coming off a big win over the Stars, while the fifth-placed Sixers beat the Renegades in their last start on New Year’s Day. The winner will sit fourth with just a handful of games left in the season.
Babar Azam and Josh Philippe will lead the charge with the bat for the Sixers, while Sean Abbott and Ben Dwarshuis will be key with the ball.
For the Heat the danger men with the bat will be Matt Renshaw and Max Bryant, who have been amongst the runs this season – the latter brilliant in the victory over the previously-unbeaten Stars – while Xavier Bartlett and Matthew Kuhneman will lead the charge with the ball.
It sets the scene for a crucial clash with both teams looking to cement their spot in the finals picture.
In particular the Sixers would find themselves two wins outside the finals places with a loss tonight.
