Star prop Payne Haas returns in a major boost for the Broncos for their clash with the Melbourne Storm at AAMI Park on Thursday night.
Haas missed the Broncos’ big win over the Rabbitohs last week and is a welcomed addition as Brisbane make a late charge for the top four.

The Broncos have hit form at the right time of year, winning six of their last seven games and now sit just two points outside of the top four.
Meanwhile, the Storm have their eyes on the minor premiership and will move to first with a win and they have more to play for with captain Harry Grant lining up for his 100th NRL game.
Centre Jack Howarth was scratched from the team 24 hours out from kick-off due to a groin injury with Joe Chan promoted in his place and Alec MacDonald — who is back from a rib injury — joining the bench.
Between the likes of Ezra Mam, Cameron Munster, Kotoni Staggs, Selwyn Cobbo and Xavier Coates there’s plenty of star power in this clash. But all eyes will be on the fullback battle between Melbourne’s Ryan Papenhuyzen and Brisbane’s Reece Walsh.
