LIVE NRL: Preston double extends Bulldogs lead amid Panthers’ hooker crisis

MATCH CENTRE: Bulldogs vs Panthers teams, scores, videos, updates

Lachlan Galvin put a charging Josh Curran through a hole before backing up to score and give the Bulldogs the lead.

Panthers second-rower Zac Lipowicz was sent to the sin bin and placed on report for a tackle that saw him land on the legs of Bulldogs five-eighth Matt Burton.

Luke Sommerton copped a boot from Sititili Tupouniua to the head and had to come from the field for a HIA.

It was later ruled a category one concussion and he was ruled out for the game.

Stephen Crichton and Connor Tracey combined to put Jacob Preston over as the Bulldogs extended their lead.

Bulldogs utility Kurt Mann was taken from the field for a HIA after copping a bloody nose, but he passed it and returned to the field.

The Panthers lost their second hooker for the game with Soni Luke coming off for a HIA and it was ruled a category two.

Galvin put Preston through a gaping hole for a classy double as the Bulldogs took a commanding lead.
