Cowboys star Val Holmes has been sent to the sin bin for the second straight week while Titans fullback AJ Brimson has left the game injured. NQ lead the Titans 13-10 at halftime.
“Oooh boy, steady on,” Andrew Voss said on Fox League when seeing the replay of Holmes’ shoulder charge on Jayden Campbell.
”Last week was the first time he had been sent to the sin bin in his career, now he’s got another one this week for the same tackle.”
In Holmes’ absence, the Titans added four points.

AJ Brimson will go head to head with Scott Drinkwater as the Gold Coast Titans host the North Queensland Cowboys in a blockbuster clash at Cbus Super Stadium.
For the Titans Joe Stimson is back in the starting side after coming off the bench in Round 21, with Klese Haas shifting to the pine.
With Tino Fa’asuamaleaui still out suspended, Isaac Liu is named to start at prop whileChris Randall has been promoted to starting dummy half, with Sam Verrills to come off the bench.
For the Cowboys Kulikefu Finefeuiaki will start in the back row, while mid-season recruit Sam McIntyre joins the bench.
Jamayne Taunoa-Brown joins the bench in place of Griffin Neame (head knock).
Reuben Cotter will now come off the bench, replaced in the starting line up by Jake Granville.
