It is confirmed. Superstar centre Stephen Crichton has been passed fit for the series opener at Suncorp Stadium and will line up for the Blues on Wednesday night.
Crichton, who was battling a cork to his left thigh after a Monday training collision, was cleared on Tuesday despite sitting out the Blues’ final training session and locked in when the final team lists were revealed.
Gun prop Payne Haas (quad) is also ready to play for NSW.

For the Maroons, former NSW coach Brad Fittler tipped a possible late team change, suggesting Lindsay Collins could start with Moeaki Fotuaika off the bench but Queensland is also 1-17.
“Lindsay Collins played the other day for the Roosters and got fatigued pretty quick… so having him come off the bench means are you risking him blowing out?” Fittler had said on Nine’s Freddy and the Eighth.
“Maybe they might start him and then bring Mo or someone off the bench.”
