The Australia Boomers and New Zealand Tall Blacks face off in the second of two World Cup qualifying games on Monday night and if the last meeting between the two is anything to go by, this could go down to the wire.

The Boomers finished strong to pip the Tall Blacks 84-79 in last Friday’s fixture, with Will Hickey the late-game hero while Jaylin Galloway continued his impressive play on the international stage with 19 points.
That game took place on Australian soil in Hobart, but now the Boomers will travel across the ditch with the two teams to play in Wellington.
Australia and New Zealand are part of Group A alongside Philippines and Guam in the Asian qualifiers, with the top three in their group moving on to the next round.
Action tips off in Monday’s game at 5pm AEDT.
