Josh Giddey has produced a “remarkable” highlight play, showing off his flashy passing skills.
In the first quarter of the OKC Thunder’s 102-97 come-from-behind win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday (all times AEDT), Giddey intercepted a chaos ball on the defensive end of the floor and quickly dished it behind his back all the way down the court to Jalen Williams near the Thunder’s attacking basket.
Talk about having eyes on the back of his head!

Williams then gave the ball to a cutting Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who gave it back to Williams or a two-point layup in a wild sequence.
Though Giddey didn’t register a statistic for the play, he certainly got a lot of credit for his basketball smarts in the moment.
A tight contest between the top two ranked sides in the West, OKC charged home with a 28-14 last quarter to run over the top and move into one game behind from the No. 1 seed in the conference.
Gilgeous-Alexander led the way for the visitors with 33 points, while Williams chipped in 20. Giddey had five points on 2-of-8 shooting with eight rebounds and four assists in 24 minutes.
DAME TORCHES PISTONS WITH 45 POINTS AS BUCKS SURVIVE SCARE
Milwaukee Bucks fans breathed out a collective sigh of relief after their team survived an almighty scare against the lowly Detroit Pistons in a 141-135 win.
The Bucks trailed the Pistons by four points with 6:49 remaining in the final quarter, but the class of the Eastern Conference’s second seed was on display down the stretch, with Milwaukee finishing with a 24-14 run.
Damian Lillard was prolific for Milwaukee, scoring a season-high 45 points and recording 11 assists while Giannis Antetokounmpo put up a near triple double (30 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists) in the win.
According to StatMuse, Lillard became the first player in Bucks history to put up such numbers.
While it must be somewhat pleasing to see his team hang with one of the league’s best outfits for four quarters without star guard Cade Cunningham, Detroit coach Monty Williams will be rueing what looked a winnable game midway through the final term.
Detroit’s bench kept them in the game at times, with Alec Burks leading the way with 33 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Rookie Ausar Thompson had 22 points.
Remarkably, Burks posted a game-high plus-minus figure of +24.
The Pistons now drop to 4-38 on the season, which is clearly the worst record in the East.
At their current rate, the Pistons will break the record of the least amount of wins in an 82-game season.
Currently held by the 1998-1999 Clippers (nine wins), the Pistons need six wins from their last 40 to avoid an unwanted piece of history.
