Australian boxing sensation Tim Tszyu revealed his one cheeky request when visiting NRL clubs and posing for photos and backed Penrith to win this year’s grand final.
Tszyu, who will be elevated from interim WBO champion to world champion, is in the final stages of his fight camp ahead of his super welterweight showdown against interim WBC champ Brian Mendoza on October 15.

But the 28-year-old will be one of several million Australians who will park up and catch the NRL grand final between the Penrith Panthers and the Brisbane Broncos on Sunday.
Unfortunately for Tszyu, his beloved South Sydney Rabbitohs did not make it into the finals having had a disastrous final run to round out the regular season.
Despite his love of the Bunnies, Tszyu’s allegiances came into question when he was quizzed on who he truly supports by NRL legends Nathan Hindmarsh and Bryan Fletcher.
Tszyu has often appeared on the sideline or at the training grounds of several NRL clubs and is pictured in the respective team’s jersey.
It sparked Fletcher and Hindmarsh to open up an intense inquiry as to who Tszyu actually supports.
“You’re a Souths man, you’re a Sharks fan, there was a Titans as well in there, a Broncos jersey possibly,” the duo said.

Tszyu cheekily replied he’s “only Souths” before Hindmarsh interjected.
“No Eels, I’ve noticed, there hasn’t been a holding up of the Eels (jersey) ” Hindmarsh said.
Tszyu replied: “Not too keen on that one.”
The Aussie boxing champ then revealed his only demand when doing these promotional shoots.
“All I ask for is no Roosters,” Tszyu said.
“That’s all I say.”
Tszyu also revealed he’s tipping the Panthers to secure three-straight NRL premierships on Sunday and pointed to a key element as to why they’ll be successful.
“I think it will be a close game,” Tszyu said.
“I like the Broncos team actually, the boys are all well connected with each other and I’ve met a lot of the boys.
“But I like the chemistry with Penrith.”
